CURRENT MISSION To enjoy my time in the UK while looking at eventual retirement back in China. ABOUT ME British Engineer who had the good fortune to live in China most of the last decade. I love to travel to new places and in particular meet new people. When traveling I stay in hostels for the people that you can meet but liked the thought of couch-surfing and have hosted some people in Guangzhou. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I've hosted a few times now in Guangzhou and enjoyed meeting new people. I've attended some local meetings but time has put a stop to that recently. Currently back in the UK and not enough room to host. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Hosted people a few times now. Good fun :-)

Books - Fantasy/Sci-Fi though in recent years I've taken to reading social and biographical books on China/Chinese history to try to understand my new home better. Music - a big range from Space-Rock, punk, reggae, alternative, dance, etc. All depends on my mood, location and who I'm with.
