Well, being a man (sorry 'bout that), I sometimes enjoy movies with an action theme but not over the top "Shoot up, Blow up the world stuff. I'm unashamed of enjoying Downton Abbey as well as several other British titles. My musical tastes make for a playlist guaranteed to make single genre listeners unhappy, lots of old school rock, reggae, Motown, even some classical stuff and tons of Anglican Hymns! I enjoy reading a variety of books, biography to non fiction history, novels to science fiction. I'm kinda funny about music, it seems that if I have actual "work" to do around the house (or elsewhere) music is a tremendous help to me. BUT when I'm not busy silence is truly golden to me. I must confess to not having owned a television for twenty five years or so, yes, I'm strange!

My passion is learning, people, places, words and ways of life! My background is in construction and I'm pretty handy with a wide range of tools and techniques. I enjoy cooking and helping out in the kitchen or house.

Pretty much everything, everywhere interests me, roads, houses, languages, landscapes, sounds, people and of course, peace! I work in the construction industry which means 12 hour days, six or seven days a week for months at a time so when I'm able, I like to travel and be free of time constraints.
