COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I'm a veteran traveller, have lived in four countries, visited about 30+ more. I have long stated a preference to sleeping on a couch in someone's home than a cold, clinical hotel room. And then someone introduced me to couchsurfing.org. I'm not alone!

Sailed with one other guy from Aden, Yemen to Cochin, India, then went on to sleep in jungle in a hut on top of a telegraph pole (to keep away from the tigers but didn't keep the rats out!)
