Hey everyone, I'm Summer. Yes, like the season. Although I think my name says a lot about my personality. To me, Summer represents light. It represents freedom, movement, and adventure. And these are words that I like to live by. I was born and raised in New York, left for a few years to study in Miami, and came back to NY to be an elementary school teacher. I realized after a couple years that I need to be out in the world, developing myself as an artist and adventurer. So, in August, I quit my job after 5 years, and began living in a different way. Not making a lot of money, but living more simply. Now, I am creating so much more and my life feels much more fulfilled creatively than ever before.
