HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING: hosting when at home and visiting others, about equal in number. currently home. here 6-9 mos./yr.mos./year. life is not a spectator sport. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE: all GREAT, tks. 2 my buddy in minsk, belarus. i hope 2 reciprocate 2 others. i have contacts in many countries, having set foot in 158. "connecting" for decades but couching is the best answer so far.

completed 37 marathons, several tri and biathlons, 3 ultramarathons. now out of shape! can hardly walk because my knees r shot; both new now. cop in disneyland one summer. saw a lion eating a LIVE cape buffalo recently in tanzania. have hiked machu pichu and grand canyon rim 2 rim. have led a very full life. doing all i can now! pic is w/ a lady i met in a teahouse in llasha, tibet; took 20 minutes for her 2 learn 2 say she loved me in english!
