CURRENT MISSION To make the most of our time by feeling, understanding and contributing to the the world to the fullest extent possible. ABOUT ME We are a very sociable, outgoing couple with a streak of silliness and a great passion for traveling. Wendi has just moved from Washington DC over to Stockholm and Henrik - from Gothenburg, Sweden - has just gotten his Masters in city planning. We met while studying abroad in Hong Kong in Spring of 2011 and it's been a crazy adventure ever since. We think life is about having fun, experiencing everything to the fullest, trying new things and meeting new people - especially those who are different from yourself. We love going out and raging as much as cooking a nice meal at home and then curling up with a great movie. There are few things we enjoy more than an engaging, meaningful conversation. In the last few years, We've been lucky enough to travel to some very exciting places and are always wanderlusting for the next destination. We look forward to meeting you there! PHILOSOPHY Of all the time that the universe has been and will be, we are only here for the tiniest wisp of a faction. We want to use that time to understand as much as possible and get to know the world and the people in it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Newly moved to Stockholm together, we're firing up our couch surfing site again after a two-year hiatus. Excited to meet people in Stockholm as well as to venture all over the continent in our spare time. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Two summers ago, we took a Euro trip through Hungary, Croatia, Italy, and Germany and met some great couchsurfers (some through the website and some organically at a local cafe the second we arrived in Budapest!) who helped define our experience that trip.

- Watching the Shanghai skyline with the city lights off right before Typhoon Muifa hit in August 2011. - Dancing on the beach at the Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan. - Climbing a remote section of the Great Wall and feeling the history sink in. - Eating authentic Mexican tacos at a hole-in-the-wall locals spot in Cozumel, Mexico and then motorcycling around exploring the whole island. - Walking the city walls in York, England. - Watching the sun rise and set within the same hour while in the wintery wonderland of Northern Sweden, close to the Arctic Circle. - Successfully dating long distance for 2.5 years and moving across the world in the name of true love.

We can share our knowledge of Chinese, Swedish, or Spanish. Henrik is a guitar rock god and would love to share some of his mad skills. We can also make awesome paper cranes :)
