CURRENT MISSION Studying painting. Goal is see and learn historical and contemporary art. PHILOSOPHY You have to know what you want in order to achieve. I don't see life in the sense of linear progression. To me life is like a blank canvas that you fill in with strokes and colors, images of events, people, and discoveries. The quality of the finished piece depends solely on the maker.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I want to travel end learn as much as possible about new places, cultures, food, art, histories, and people. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Not much yet but looking forward to much ahead!

Music: Blonde Redhead first and foremost!!! (who are really my true love). Many others such as Tori Amos, Beatles, Radiohead, Zemfira, Future Sound of London, etc, etc... Movies: I don't watch many (no time) but I do enjoy whenever I get an opportunity. Some favorites are Amelie, Little Miss Sunshine, Science of Sleep, Shrek, Closer, The Darjeeling Limited, Andrey Tarkovsky's movies, Woody Allen's movies. Books: art history, "Crime and Punishment", Patrick McCabe's "Butcher Boy", "Dead School", Orhan Pamuk's "Snow" and "My Name is Red", "Catcher in the Rye", "Lolita", Books by Bulgakov "Master and Margarita" "Heart of a Dog" and short stories, recently been reading short stories of Tatyana Tolstaya

Oh so many! Painting, art, antique jewelery, browsing forever in used bookstores, wandering the streets, reading alone, get a group of people together bring a bottle or two of wine (or beer), studying hard, taking that group of people for dancing or just talk the night away around the table with oh so spicy salsa and chips and of course beer. Discovering new art galleries, going drunk to new art openings (thats the funnest). Oh and lately I began learning how to sew.
