HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I tried Couchsurfing in New Zealand but people were always full or not available. I know how helpful it is to have a free place to stay and to talk to a local who can give you insight into the place you're in. As soon as I get settled in Missoula, I'll open up my couch... COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My 3 friends and i stayed with a guy in Eugene Oregon. It worked out well because he showed us around town, took us to a great restaurant and had Thai food, and we kept him company because his girlfriend had just left him. It was a nice exchange we all enjoyed.
