I am an easy going Mid-Western guy living in San Diego for the last 18 years and am setting out on an adventure around the world. It's always been a dream of mine and it is about time that I accomplish that dream. I try not to take myself to seriously, good sense of humor and always look at the bright side of situations.

I want to explore the world but in not so much of a tourist kinda way. Over the years living in San Diego I have talked to many different people from around the world and so many have offered to open their homes up to me... wish I would have retained their contact information...and I want to experience the world from more of a local perspective. I do feel that is how I will learn the most of the cultures and local life. I love having guests and when I am back home I will be happy to have visitors from around the world stay with me!
