(I always feel weird writing about myself so this profile is probably going to be a work in progress for a while :D) Well, I'm a wanderer, have been since i was a little kid (I'm 31 now). I've lived all over the east coast, grew up in New Hampshire, I've lived and worked all over New England, spent a year in Florida, did a stint in the Army (spent most of my time in Georgia), moved back to New Hampshire, met my beautiful wife Jess (also a wanderer :)) and we moved down to Texas a couple years ago! Now we are getting ready to move to Denver, Colorado for the next step in our journey. I'm a wildlife ecologist/researcher and Jess has worked in retail management for the last 6 years, she's also a very talented baker!

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
Because all the cool kids are doing it! Really though, my wife and I love to travel but hotels SUCK! I'm sick of staying in over-priced, generic spaces that cycle people through by the hundreds. I'd much rather meet more interesting people, share stories, share experiences and learn about the place we are visiting.
音乐、电影与书籍
Music - I enjoy a wide variety of music from rap to electronica to indie rock/psychedelic to heavy metal. Always up for a variety of music and I love sharing my favorites with friends (and hopefully soon fellow couchsurfers!). Movies - don't watch too many movies lately but I always love a good sci-fi/fantasy movie. Some favorites: any of the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit movies, Ender's Game, Boondock Saints, anything where aliens invade lol Books - I've been an avid reader since I was 3 years old so this could go on forever! I mainly read sci-fi/fantasy books but I've been getting into a lot of philosophical reads lately. I'll just put up a few of my favorites: I am Legend (movie SUCKED but the original book is incredible!), Tolkien (any and all), The God Delusion

Animals - we are both kind of obsessed with reptiles and amphibians. We love going out field herping (e.g. wandering around looking for snakes and turtles :D) and both love to see animals in their natural habitats. Hiking - We love getting outdoors and seeing what mother nature has to offer! I can't say we're in the best shape any more (living in the flatlands for so long and all) but we love outdoor activities Art - I am an aspiring glass artist, I've got all my tools and glass just working on finding a space to work out of!
