I'm on couch surfing to meet new people and learn about new cultures. I would love to host someone and show them around, the area I know and love. I also like to learn from other people and hear stories about their lives. When I travel, I always like to interact with the locals, as I feel you don't expereience a country properly if you do the typical tourists sights/routes; as they are often very different to what real life is like, in the country and give a false impression. I am on couch surfing to enable me to meet locals and to meet and help, people travelling from all over the world.

Over the summer I back packed from Australia, where I was studying at the time, all the way through Asia. Eventually ending up in Beijing. I have started a travel blog (theworldthroughalens.com) to document it and provide advice to people who are visting these places in the future. Though due to study commitments, I have yet to finish documenting my trip. It was a really eye opening experience travelling through so many very different countries, visiting so many different places and seeing so many interesting sites. I would love to do something like that again.
