I'm married with Jose Castellanos (we always travel together) We have three children, Alejandra Belen (28), Adrian (16) and Kevin (16) I grew up in Mexico but currently I'm living in California where I am studying to obtain my Ph.D. in Spanish I'm planing to teach Spanish and Latin America literature and language I love reading and writing (short stories and poems) I love traveling!

I'm on Couchsurfing because we (my husband and I) love knowing new people and because sharing is the way the world will become a better place. We want to offer our home for free, that is, without any kind of economical interest, just for the love of sharing and meeting new people (the way things should be) Also, we have plans of start traveling in this beautiful phase of our life Our first long trip together will be in Europe and it'll be in a few months

Arriving, ten years ago, to the United States and starting from scratch and with basic knowledge of the language and reaching the level of studies that I have now I am proud of had participated for a while in a literacy program of indigenous migrants in my community I'm proud of having raised wonderful children and of achieving a happy and stable relationship with my husband
