I have moved around quite a bit over the years, including living in Germany for a while, now back in the north east of England and living with my partner in Gateshead. Love food, politics and music, likely to cook for you if you're staying, happy to make arrangements for any dietary needs and will give you as much space as you need! We're both as welcoming as we can be and have a spare room, so you will have your own privacy here. Always happy to hang out, and if work schedule allows we can show you around the city.

Looking to meet new people, share stories and experiences, make new friends. Much prefer being a part of someone's life for a couple of days than staying in a hotel, and it's lovely being able to offer that for other travelers finding their way around in this world.

Herman Hesse, Dostoyevsky, Pynchon, William Gibson, Joseph Heller...not so well read, but I try to read when I can. Used to be more into film, seen some of the classics, a handful of films from most of the bigger countries in cinema, always looking for recommendations.

Try to keep a balance on how I spend my time, sometimes I do better than others, currently working on a novel, I wish I had the money to pursue all the things that interest me. Really love cooking though, nothing makes me happier than cooking for people.
