My partner George and I are Kiwis who learned to fly We recently decided, after graduating University (Alexus - Politics/Anthropology; George - Food Science), that we wanted to spend the next two years exploring Europe and the UK. We are excited to discover new places, meet new people, immerse ourselves in different cultures, and make lifelong friends along the way! We consider ourselves to be very tidy and considerate guests. We are more than happy to chip in with some housework, to show our appreciation for letting us into your home! We're also great cooks (self-proclaimed) and would love to cook you the odd meal. Once we graduated from University, we saw ourselves settling down in our hometown, so we decided to uproot our lives and go and explore. We want to be around locals, who enjoy socialising with other travellers.

We have a wide range of music interests! We’re both into a spot of drum and bass, George the more heavier and filthy and Alexus the more liquid. Music is a big part of our lives so we travel with a DJ controller. We have a universal love for film, especially 80's classics, such as Pulp Fiction, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Back to the Future. But honestly we'd enjoy just about any movie that's thrown at us!

We recently (24th March 2019) got engaged! Alexus was nominated for a prize to honour her top contribution to the study of Buddhism during her studies at university. George has DJ'd as support for some of his favourite international artists.
