I'm Alice, 29 years old and from Hamburg, Germany. Ever since finishing my teacher training im summer 2024 (I’m a high school teacher for English and History), I have been travelling LATAM and have madly fallen in love with the people, the cultures and all the histories and beautiful landscapes I got to know. I‘ve travelled a lot in Europe, have spent several months in South East Asia and have been to the Middle East for a bit before exploring Latam. I’m passionate about history, learning about cultures, discussing politics, history and feminism. I’m a good listener but also love talking when I’m comfortable. I’m a very organized person with lots of plans for every single day. You will likely find me exploring a museum, hiking to waterfalls or wandering through ruins :) As a guest I’m tidy, quiet, independent and very capable of adapting so you won’t have to worry about me at all :)

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people and make friends all over the world and this is what travelling is about for me. I love meeting people that will give me an insight into their culture, share their thoughts and feelings with me and I appreciate these connections I get to make so much!

If I had to describe my music taste I’d say a mix of Indie Pop, Pop, Rock and EDM. Good lyrics are essential! When I find some good songs I tend to repeat the same playlist for weeks and weeks..
