About 8 years ago I moved to Spain for work, and now I'm still here enjoying life and working from home. I live alone in a place near the beach but because I need to work strange hours I sometimes don't get to go out and enjoy myself. Couchsurfing helps me get out there, stay active and learn about this crazy world :).

The kinds of people I meet are amazing. I meet nationalities I would never otherwise encounter, learn about different cultures and languages and have fun in the process. If it weren't for people staying for even just a night I'd be a hermit!
音乐、电影与书籍
Music...I'm a fan of Jacque Loussier if you've heard of him. Movies, just about anything. I'll happily watch a 1 star rated movie and talk endlessly about the story arc, the production, the direction and the editing. Books...I love Malcolm Gladwell as much as I love Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams. Since I was a kid I've loved Spike Milligan books so those would be ones I recommend.

Sailed down the Nile in Egypt. The run was going down and I could hear the Call to Prayer from each side of the river. I was at the front of the boat and it was breathtaking.

I'm a big history buff so I'll go into detail about local history! I love learning about other languages and cultures - my brain is full of probably useless knowledge about different parts of the world.

Normally the people who are staying are on their way from Malaga to Tarifa. Gibraltar is a great place to see on your way - you can see the sights and relax a little before heading West. If you want to explore on your own you'll have a bed to come back to in the evening. If you want to be shown around I can definitely do that!

Photography, technology, culture, language, movies (especially movies - try not get into a debate with me about movies because you'll never hear the end of it) and just about everything. Nothing really bores me, so I enjoy learning about just about anything.
