I don't live in San Francisco anymore -- I really don't live anywhere, actually, and I quite enjoy that. Soon to be Mexico for a bit, and then who knows. I really cannot figure out if I take everything or nothing seriously. In new places I like to wander around aimlessly, smell things, and pick leaves into tiny pieces.

One of my favorite nights started at the Berlin Philharmonie, went on to sing pop songs at karaoke, and ended in a sweaty, smokey, red-lit trap den. All of that's good. Movies: Death to Smoochy. Harold and Maude. Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid. I've also been dying to watch Men In Black again lately, for reasons I cannot explain. Books: The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Pale Fire. Just Kids. Narcissus und Goldmund. Anna Karenina (that's mostly a brag that I finished it). I just realized that for the first time in my life, I'm starting to finish the books that I start.
