Apart from the obvious reason -being able to travel as much as I can without spending a lot of money on a hotel or a traditional accommodation- I'm in Couchsurfing because, from my experience, it has always been better to discover a new city with the local people, getting their advice, suggestions and trying to see the new place through their eyes, instead of focusing only on the touristic offers. I've been an exchange student in France and lived with more than 2 different families, Au Pair in Munich for a year and now I live in a shared flat with really cool roomies from Germany and Venezuela; and it's always a pleasure to discover new ways of seeing and doing things and spending time together. I think in this way people can learn a lot about each other while exchanging good stories and important values.

I listen to different music, from commercial to old music in Portuguese. I love tango, I have fun with jazz, I dance Reggaeton, I chill with Rock ... it all depends on the day and the mood. Every genre is welcome! :) Movies? "Shawshank Redemption", "What dreams may come", any Almodovar movie, Argentinian movies such as "El Secreto de sus Ojos", "21", "Catch me if you can", "Contratiempo" ... Suspense and history in general. When it comes to books, I like reading about psychology, learning processes (e.g. "Emotional Intelligence") but also fiction such as "Harry Potter" or Historical Fiction, to learn new things within a contextual framework.
