It doesn't necessarily have to be expensive: refrigerator magnets from your city, a currency coin, a bottle of wine, an old sock with a hole, a card with a personal message, a drawing on a napkin. Anything that will make me remember you! In return, I cook delicious Indian delicacies for you, make Masala Chai for you and keep you safe and warm! 4. Avid travellers will get accepted faster! 5. Couchsurfing hosts will get accepted faster! 6. References are the most important: please don't write two line references. Make them creative, descriptive and sensible. Describe the experience! Don't just say I am nice, friendly and fun. Justify it with examples of what did I do to make you feel that way. 7. Keep the house clean.
