Spending time with friends and sharing experiences, whether it be going to concerts/festivals, hiking around or swimming in the local lake, or having a bite to eat and a few drinks, are very important to me. Creating and exploring different aspects of art, visual, musical, or literary, is my passion.

Exploring a city shouldn't boil down to where a tourist goes. In order to truly understand the culture and embodiment of a place a guide is needed, and what better way to find guidance than by meeting and staying with somebody in their everyday environment.

Too many to list! Really into existentialism like Kerouac and Nietzsche right now. All time favorite band is Radiohead, but I've been dabbling a lot lately with some of the old krautrock bands like CAN and Neu!, and also been into Sigur Ros, The Battles, and Animal Collective as of late. Movies, cant go wrong with anything Stephen King related, also recently saw Army of Darkness and that was really fun and entertaining. But, yeah, too much!

Traveled across the country for two months with a couple buddies, taking the old Route 66, and seeing some incredible things and meeting great people. Wish I'd known about Couchsurfing then.
