Hey, I'm Aslam from India. I've been living in the Netherlands for the past two years, after spending seven years in Latvia. I work here in the Netherlands. One of the things I really like about Couchsurfing is that it lets me meet people from all over the world and share different cultures. I'm not super active on it, but I do use it from time to time.

I’ve been learning music and still practicing on the harmonium. I watch movies, but not as often these days. As for reading, it’s been a while since I last picked up a book.

I used to learn karate, so I can teach a few moves. I also tried learning Kalaripayattu, an Indian martial art, and can show some steps from that. Oh, and I can teach how to cook some Indian food too!

I can share stories from my travels, teach a bit of Indian cooking, show you some martial arts moves, or just hang out and chat about different cultures. I’m always up for a good conversation and love learning from others too!
