** Currently in Denver and down for meetups to explore the city and nature ** The thing I value most in my life is having new experiences and meeting new people! There are two seemingly non-related sides to my character. On the one hand, I can describe myself as a geek intrigued by new technologies, and on the other hand, I am an art lover! Overly obsessed with the Criterion Collection and foreign movies as they are a gate to foreign cultures to me. Besides film, I also enjoy consuming all the other art forms. Nature is my cathedral, and hanging out with people is my prayer. I almost forgot to mention that I like taking pictures too. 我为什么使用Couchsurfing
After the pandemic and staying at home, working remotely, it hit me that my life doesn't feel fulfilling anymore because I have lost the explorer side of my character. It hit so hard that I decided to sell my stuff, break up with my girlfriend, and start a road trip to the other side of the country where I don't know anyone. I plan to travel to different cities in the US (and outside the US very soon) and stay in each town (AirBNB) for a couple of months. As a way to find new friends and companion explorers, I'm hosting people (if my AirBNB allows it) on Couchsurfing. My plan is to travel to South America next.

Some of my favorite directors are Andrei Tarkovski, Michael Haneke, Hirokazu Kore-eda, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Béla Tarr, John Cassavetes, Dardenne brothers, ... I listen to all kinds of music. Last year my Spotify year-in-review told me that I have genre lust and have listened to more than a thousand of different genres during that year. So yeah, I listen to pretty much anything.
