Hey guys! I'm a British guy living in Nagasaki in Japan at the moment. I love travelling and meeting new people. I'm really open minded and my passions are food, music and language. I can speak Japanese (I passed N2) and am now trying to learn Italian. I look forward to meeting you all!

Couchsurfing
To explore new places with new friends! I think one of the most important things to do in life is connect with people and make new friends ... and what better way to do it than Couchsurfing!
My music taste is varied, I like everything from motown to rock to pop. I've recently been really into funk music. My favourite book is Sapiens (go and read it if you haven't already). I have a Kindle and a long commute to work so get through loads of books. I'm not fussy with genre, I'll give anything a go! My favourite film of all time is Forest Gump but I also love A Quiet Place. I recently got into Japanese films and adore Studio Ghibli.
Went from knowing no Japanese to advanced level in just over one year.
I can teach you how to play guitar or perhaps speak a bit of Japanese. I would be interested to learn how to cook your food and speak your language . Let's share some great memories. My favourite forms of socialising are eating and going to bars ... let's do it!
I will happily help with any errands you have to do while I'm staying with you. I'll be willing to try anything to do with the local culture in your area. And I promise to be polite, discrete and good company :)
My main interest is music. I love to go to gigs, play guitar, do karaoke. Everything music related is my jam. Since coming to Japan I took up learning Japanese as a necessity and it's developed into a real deep hobby for me. I love learning it and will continue to do so for a while I think. I also love eating. One of the main reasons I travel is to explore food culture and I find it endlessly exciting.
