My name is Bob, and I am from the Netherlands! I am an active person, and when I am travelling I like to explore new places and experience new sports, cultural activities or anything that a host thinks is worth seeing. Currently, (after obtaining my bachelor's degree) I am travelling together with my girlfriend (see profile picture) and will be consisiting out of 2 guests, we are fine with sleeping anywhere. So, don't worry! When I am surfing I like not to be treated as a hotel guest, but I like to be part of your everyday (local) life. So please teach me things about the everyday culture! I am a great fan of music and food and see myself as an easy going and relaxed, but curious traveller. I am comfortable with expressing myself in Dutch, English and German. I understand a lot of French, but my spoken is limited. And my Chinese is just a few words!;)

Music: My passion for music is to be classified as an addiction. I play drums, a little harmonica, but listen to music every day. My style varies, but I would say my favourite is Indie/folk/rock. Movies: Give me plot twists and food for thought. I like inception, sixth sense, shutter island, memento and so on. Books: The whole serie of a song of ice and fire, into the wild and of course my own travel journals!

I am really interested in Photography. I am traveling with a Nikon D600 and a GoPro4 to capture as much as possible. Furthermore, I like all kinds of foods. I try everything and like the most! My sports are wakeboarding, diving and skiing. So you'll find me around water or snow a lot!
