- Two-week summer trip to Lanyu (also: Orchid Island, off the eastern coast of Taiwan) for an education camp for aboriginal kids, and was stranded on the island for a typhoon, which was later proved to be a blessing in disguise. - One-month summer (demystification) trip to Tokyo. First time traveling abroad as a backpacker. - Studying as an exchange student in Prague, Czech Republic.
