Hi, I'm Burakhan. I am student in Boğaziçi University. I believe that I am always a student not only in university but also in life, so I am open to new ideas in every subject. I enjoy sharing my own experiences and listening to and benefiting from other people's experiences. I am someone who thinks early in my life that I need to get out of my comfort zone. I'm an adventurer and I like to energize people. One of my biggest dreams is to see every country in the world and get to know every culture.

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
I see life as a single chance to be experienced in every sense. I want to continue this one chance by meeting new people, sharing with different cultures, and gaining life experience for myself and my environment. Because I think Couchsurfing is the most suitable platform for having these experiences I’m using Couchsurfing :)

Music: I listen to punk and alternative rock since childhood. but I'm open to any melody that sounds good to my ears :) Movies: Tarkovsky is the lifesetter for me so I can say that I’m the lover of art house movies. Besides, I like independent European movies. Especially Eurocentric ones is the best! Manu Larcenet, Frederik Peeters and Gipi are my favorites. Besides, currently I’m making my own comic!

When I was 17, I had an exciting 15-day cycling route from Alanya (East Antalya) to Çanakkale. In 2022, I made a 40-day hitchhiking trip from Antalya (Turkey) to Gdansk (Poland) with selling my art products. In 2024, I made a 2 month hitchhiking trip in Southeast-Asia.
