CURRENT MISSION Music music music! ABOUT ME I'm a singer/guitarist/songwriter! I love music and anything creative. I have a very busy life, and love it :) I like keeping active and meeting new people. I also study music at Napier University. As all the references suggest, I used to be very active in the CS scene in Edinburgh but lately haven't been able to do so much. I guess the horrifying truth is I grew up a little and settled down with my lovely girlfriend. Nowadays I enjoy a quiet glass (or 3) of wine with good company as opposed to busy clubs. I'm on the road just now researching for my dissertation. PHILOSOPHY What doesn't kill you makes you stronger . . . "It's not about what you're given, it's what you do with what you got."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I love meeting new people and letting them see the real Edinburgh, and the lifestyle some of us live here. I have a good knowledge of the city and its culture, history and nightlife. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've met and hosted some lovely CSers and enjoy socialising with fellow hosts in Edinburgh. The CS "Edinburgh rocks" weekend was incredible. CS keeps things exciting, lots of new people and good times with all the Edinburgh group.

Mainly Scottish folk but also Jazz, Acoustic, Hip hop (some anyway), Indie, Blues, everything really except talentless pop. Love reading, at the moment I'm obsessed with ethnomusicology, aesthetics and the culture industry. I read quite a lot about philosophy, buddhism and physics as well as good old fashioned novels and do love the occassional children's classic! Currently addicted to Lee Child books. Enjoy movies like fight club, crouching tiger hidden dragon, spirited away, imagine me and you, a beautiful mind, american beauty.

I've had some amazing experiences, but in the most normal of settings and circumstances, it's the people that make moments special for me! I've enjoyed diving in the Caribbean just as much as eating cheese sandwiches in a garden in Edinburgh!

Love playing music with people, always got a load of musical instruments around to teach, learn and share all at the same time!! Can offer tuition on guitar and use of music production software such as logic, garageband and protools.
