My first experience overseas stands out to me. I went to Montreux, Switzerland with my university jazz band to play in the jazz festival there. We also toured around northern Italy for a little while. It was an amazing introduction to international travel and is certainly responsible for my wanderlust.

Teaching English, learning mandarin, sharing my love of music

I have a lot of experience in China, having lived there for 2 years. I can answer many questions about modern China. I am an English teacher by trade, and will happily give a lesson.

I'm not much of a party animal, but I know how to have a good time. I prefer to travel slowly and really absorb my surroundings.
