I attend as many related conferences as I can fit into my schedule. I've also been involved with many community groups, which keeps me pretty busy. In my non-professionallife, I keep pet rats, play board games, and am a vegetarian.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING There aren't too many people who look for a couch in Lowell, but when they pass through, my partner and I are happy to give them a place to crash. I've also stayed at a few places, and love the idea that you can spend as little or as much time with a surfer/host as you'd like.
