I think couchsurfing is the perfect way to meet locals, get the scoop on the hot spots, and make potential life-long friends. I live for the deep convos with fascinating people who can give you a whole new outlook on life. Almost every bad situation I've found myself in while traveling, something or someone beautiful has come from it. It's such an awesome feeling knowing there are people out there who just genuinely want to get to know you ad your story and/or willing to help when you need it the most, no questions asked .
