I love meeting new people - I believe learning about a new place through the eyes of the local people is the best way to experience travel. Sharing stories, beliefs and a home creates a beautiful bond and can help both host and surfer learn more about the world, which for me is the whole point of travel. The connections are what make any experience worthwhile :)
