Hi, I’m Claire! I’m taking a gap year to travel, meet new people, and explore. I’m from the United States, to be specific Ohio. First I moved to Colorado then to France (where I am now), and next I will go to Spain! I am using workaway to work in exchange for food and accommodations. This year has been amazing so far!

In the age of the internet, we should be more connected than ever, but that’s not the case. People feel more alone and deep conversations are harder to come by. I use couchsurfing to try bringing some of that connection back.
音乐、电影与书籍
I listen to folk, indie, and singer-songwriter most frequently, but i love a bunch of types of music (classic rock, post-punk, you name it.) I love watching and discussing movies! My favorite movie is Wes Anderson’s “Moonrise Kingdom”. As for books, i must admit i don’t read as much as I once did. Lately I’ve been reading the journals of Sylvia Plath.

I play guitar and a little bit of piano and ukulele. I’ve gotten into film photography recently, but I’m still very much a beginner. I think i have about a million hobbies, interests, and passions, and i’m down to try new things!
