missing my flight back to my hometown from NJ. I was the gate, next to my actual gate, charging my phone. I lost track of time, and wondered why no one was boarding. Only to remember I was at the wrong gate. I went to the proper gate, and it was sealed. I went to the customer service lady, and made up the story that I arrived late, and the door was locked. She proceeded to walk me down the tunnel, after she unlocked the door, and very passionately told the pilot (who already disembarked the plane and was backing the plane up) that there is one more, and to let me in. The pilot reconnected to the tunnel. I boarded. EVERYONE WAS PISSED, but i had a big smile on my face. I sat next to a lady who went out of her way to avoid eye contact in the most dramatic way possible. good times!
