There is so many movies that I love, it's hard to pick up a favorite. But if I had to chose one it will be Fantastic Mr Fox from Wes Anderson. I don't really have a favorite book but I'm a big fan of the comic books Tintin by Hergé. Currently I'm reading an excellent story called Tokyo Vice by Jake Adelstein, it's about an american journalist working on mafia for a Japanese newspaper.

I think the major interest of staying with local is to share different aspect of our own culture. I love to cook a French meal to thank my host and I expect my host to gave me some tips about the city, what to see, where to go for dinner or for a drink and of course he/she is more than welcome to come along visit with me :)
