I'm a 36 year-old currently living in Siberia where I work as an English teacher. I love meeting new people and am passionate about learning langauges. My Russian is improving slowly but there is still a lot of work to do! I love going out, history, music, books, films, sarcasm and red wine!!

While I've been travelling around, I have been mainly staying in hostels and hotels. As much as I love many of my gringo friends, I didn't come to South America to meet other gringos. I'm hoping that through couch surfing, I can meet some locals and see where they live through their eyes. Hopefully, I can get to practice my Spanish as well and help you with your English.

My favourite movies include The Shawshank Redemption, Todo Sobre Mi Madre, Goodfellas, Underground and the brilliant documentary, The Fog of War. Music I listen to includes Miles Davis, Radiohead, Manu Chao, Leftfield, Tracey Chapman, Crowded House & The Stone Roses.
