Dominick here. I come from Croton-on-Hudson , NY but am currently living and finishing school in New Paltz, NY. I study contemporary music studies and take a hand full of other classes of my interest like philosophy and sociology, and soon to take psychology as well. Music is probably the center of most of what I do but I also try and spread my energy to other things.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm trying to travel more and this seems like a great avenue. I also find myself traveling alone sometimesand I think connecting with people and learning from them would be better, in some cases, then just camping alone. I'm interested in meeting new people and those people showing and sharing with me what they connect with in a certain place. Being able to visit somewhere is one thing and being able to connect with it through an intimate avenue is an entirely different experience. I'm really just hoping to meet new people and have new experiences... having a couch (or floor) to sleep on is a plus :).

Favorite music is a hard one because I have so many favorite artists. To try and keep it simple.... What I can share with hosts is definitely pleasurable and polite company. I will definitely share my music if people would like me to as well. I can also help out any way possible with domestic things. I'm a very good cleaner and would love to help people cook. I'm a good organizer too, so if any body needs help with that, I'm game. Very willing to help out as much as I can to whatever wonderful people host me!

My interests lie heavily in music. Chances are wherever I go, my guitar will probably be with me. However I also love to play board games, especially chess. I enjoy reading, whether it's a novel, poetry or short stories. I love watching movies too. Walking, biking, hiking, swimming are all a plus. I also like writing and photography when I feel inspired, though I don't do it all the time. With the right mindset, you can enjoy a lot!
