CURRENT MISSION Take an international trip this year and keep up the NOLA spirit ABOUT ME Like many on this site, I have the travel bug and hit the road whenever I'm able. Stateside--a goal is to visit all 50 states by the time I'm 50. Abroad--2 more continents to go. Of course my interests are more than just my travels and too various to name; it just depends on what captures my curiosity at the time. ************ re: couch requests, take a very quick glance at my profile and mention something you think we might have in common. I realize we won't always have the luxury of time when sending out couch requests while we're traveling but it's a small gesture. To me, CS is not just about a free place to crash for the night... PHILOSOPHY There are no accidents in life. Don't judge a book by it's covers. I can always sleep when I'm dead.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Hosting, surfing, chauffering, coffee, drink, meal. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE The experiences I've had thus far, both surfing and hosting, have been awesome. The warmth and generosity of all the hosts who open their homes to a virtual stranger is heartwarming. I read on someone's profile that CSers are friends you haven't met yet. I've found this to be consistently true. Even better are some of the lifelong friends I've made. Each of them brightens whatever part of the world they're currently living. As if I need any more reason to travel. ha.
