Hi everyone! My name is Elien, welcome to my couchsurfing-page! I'm studying physiotherapy in Brussels and meanwhile trying to explore other countries by doing internships in different places! I grew up nearby Ghent, Belgium and still live there most of the weekends. It's possible that I'm not in Brussels in summertime, sorry if I don't reply fast or don't reply at all. I'd like to meet new people and when I'm traveling I prefer to experience the cultures. I'm fascinated by other people and how they live. I'm really into the more alternative way of traveling: meeting new people and cultures, not paying for those big hotels that will disappoint anyway, enjoy the nature and dig in the adventure of not knowing what will come.

I can share my experiences in Brussels and give you good advice where you should go for a coffee or drink. When I'm free, I'll be able to show you around myself. I also love to cook (and eat) and to discover new things related to this, I'm not a type of person that would go to the same restaurant over and over again, I like to discover new places. In this way, I can also be a tourist in my own country/city.
