I am a 22 year old college student in my final year of college. I'm majoring in English literature a well as french language, and I am in France for the summer to attend classes and improve my language skills. I am serious about school, but I love having drinks with friends as well. Food is my favorite thing in the world aside from my mother, and the ocean comes in as a close third. I am VERY tidy, as cleaning is actually how I relax. I usually leave places cleaner than I found them. I can understand french, but my speaking is still pretty broken. 我为什么使用Couchsurfing
I'm in France for the summer, but I have a four day break, so I thought I'd head to the beaches. However, as I am a poor college student, I thought couch surfing would be better than getting a hotel for four nights. Also, I love the idea of meeting new people. After all, I am here to learn french, and what better way to do that than this?

Movies: L'Auberge Espagnole, Coco before Chanel, Dirty Dancing, any Disney movie, any anime movie like from Studio Ghibli. Music: the band Rush and the band The Shins. oh, and the band Sigur Books: any Russian literature, especially Dostoevsky (even though I've only read Crime and Punishment, I know I'm going to love The Idiot). I love Pride and Prejudice, but I really don't like Jane Austen's other novels. Harry Potter and His Dark Materials trilogies are a must. and my favorite poet is E.E. Cummings.

I love the ocean. Books have been my best friends since I was five. Wine and cheese, obviously. Dogs, 40s music, and dresses are some things I couldn't live without. Oh, and high heeled wedges.
