A few months ago, I turned 25 years old. A few days later, I took care of a patient in the ER who was 100 years old. Yes, four times my age. And I realized, I don't want to wait that much longer to explore the rest of the world. I don't understand or approve of this notion that we must work so hard when we're young and try to relax when we are older. Why not explore and travel and live and learn when you are still young and healthy? Currently, I have embarked on a solo backpacking trip through much of Scandinavia and Central and Eastern Europe from September to November. I have already had incredible experiences surfing with hosts, and meeting both locals and fellow travelers at CS events!

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
I am Couchsurfing because I am a humble single American female with limited funds. I love the community aspect of Couchsurfing, and the idea of finding kind and hospitable people all over the world. Couchsurfing is a great way to allow the many people of limited means the ability to reach all corners of this beautiful Earth :)

我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
I backpacked through a good portion of France in Summer of 2014 with my mom and sister. It was an amazing journey for numerous reasons. My sister had been studying abroad for over a year and thus I had not seen her since she left the US. I had never been to Europe before, and had always dreamed of visiting France since I studied French for 4 years in high school. We had such a great trip: a perfect combination of planned sightseeing and spontaneous adventure. We ate great food, met warm-hearted people, and saw everything from the immensity of the French alps to the glimmering shores of the Mediterranean to the artistic wonderland of Paris.
我能与房东分享的
I am very friendly and talkative. I love meeting new people, exploring new places, and understanding cultures different from my own. I am also very independent and can easily entertain myself by roaming throughout the city or various nature/hiking trails. I am clean and tidy, and love to cook, so making a nice warm meal for my hosts would be great!
