I'm this retired Marine who loves seeing the world and experiencing new cultures. I've been told I've got a knack for languages and have been referred to as a "cultural chameleon" as folks quite often first meet me wondering where I'm from as they can't place the "accent" (it is a speech impediment, but I don't get offended about questions). Despite my acquired speech impediment, I still manage to operate just fine in countries where I don't speak the indigenous language.

Through my studies at university in the States, and serving in My Beloved Corps of Marines, I've made friends and comrades all over the world and enjoy going to visit with them and their families. It is a joy to to experience a People and Land as most Americans will never. It is also a real blessing to be able to break from one's comfort zone to discover more than one previously thought possible. I also enjoy doing the same for others.
