26 year old open-minded explorer from Wales, UK, taking a break from life as a primary school teacher to travel the world (slowly)! Started my current trip mid-2015 and have travelled S-E Asia and Australia (whilst topping up my travel funds) with New Zealand being my next destination. New to Couchsurfing but have friends recommend it after many positive experiences. I'm ready to meet new people, hear their stories and learn about different ways of life! Currently travelling so unable to host but look forwad to returning the favour l when I decide to settle for an amount of time... Where ever that may be! :-)

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
2 reasons: to facilitate my travel and adventures, but equally to meet people! (the same reasons as everyone else?...) My favourite way to experience new cultures is to see how the locals do it. I prefer to spend longer in one place to have time to go 'off the beaten track', discover secret spots that aren't in the guidebooks, than to city-hop and only experience things from a tourist pov. Alongside the breathtaking views, quirky coffee shops, great restaurants or just a cool place to go for a walk or hang out... I'm also open to lots of new things :)

In general but not limited to... Favourite movies: love Marvel and DC films at the moment Favourite books: travel books ;) and other non-fiction Favourite music: this is a hard one... A general genre would be rock.
