CURRENT MISSION To make good connections with people, and to have a richer time travelling than I would if I were staying by myself. ABOUT ME I'm a musician and composer -- I come from a classical music background, but love music of all sorts. My main instruments are oboe and piano, and I also play a bit of fiddle. When I'm not playing music, I love to spend time outdoors, hiking, camping, canoeing, etc. I'm also a bit of a nerd. I love reading and discussing ideas. And I like cooking (though I can't claim any particular expertise) and making things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Couchsurfing is new to me! We had a couchsurfer stay with us in November, and she was great, so I thought it would be good to sign up for couchsurfer in time for my upcoming trip to Scotland. Generally, I like meeting people, and this seems like a great way to do it!
