My name is Emma. I'm only 19 yrs. old and soon to be 20. I would describe myself as a being a smiling happy young woman that loves a challenge. I love weird movies, series, quirky books and silly people. Here in my gap year I will be trying to go travel as much as possible and experience as much as possible. I'm musical and love singing and dancing - so if you're around me you will here a lot singing.

I think Couchsurfing is a very good way of getting to know people from around the world and getting to know completely different cultures as to what I'm used to. I want to throw myself out there and try to mingle with strange, nice, new people.

I don't know if I have done something truly amazing, but I did once hitch hike down from Denmark to Rouen - Paris - up through Netherlands and finished in Berlin. It was fun.

I love music and animals. I have played the piano for as long as I remember - it may not be good, but it is something I really love doing. Also I sing - a lot. I love cooking and have always spent a lot of time in the kitchen with my brother when I was smaller making homemade pasta or something.
