I grew up in Northern California, USA, and attended college at University of California Santa Cruz, where I studied Literature and Classical History. I graduated from college in 2014 and worked at a martial arts school for a year and a half, working on the business in the morning and teaching classes in the evening. In November 2015 I quit my job to travel through Europe, to challenge myself to try new things, meet new people, and live an active life.
