Hi all :) I am an Italian who just moved to London (before I was living in the beautiful and peaceful city of Geneva in Switzerland) to work at the ICRC (what is that...? Impossible to explain here). Before moving to Geneva I had spent most of my life between Bologna and Padova. My main interests are anthropology (which includes languages, religions, foods and more generally cultural and societal habits), the environment (I love nature and especially spending time 'into the wild') and the ways to protect it through law and politics. But I'm also interested in international relations and politics more in general, in travels, and in many more things which you will discover if we have a chance to meet (for example I love cinema and film-making and I’m currently working on a doc. on Italy).

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
When traveling, I want to meet local people, no matter what their lifestyle, language, skin color, religion or political view is. In fact, the more you are different, the more you will look interesting and worth exploring in my eyes. This is why I sometimes use Couchsurfing: to engage with people (especially, but not only, locals) during my travels. If you want to meet, teach me your language, show me your favorite places in your country, bring me to your favorite cinema or restaurant or teach me how to cook a traditional dish or simply chat about what you consider important and worthwhile for your or your family or even your friends, well, I'll be extremely happy to meet you and join you!
音乐、电影与书籍
Jack Kerouac: 'On the Road', 'Big Sur'. Julian Barnes: 'Levels of life'. Poetry: Pablo Neruda, Fernando Pessoa, Franco Arminio, Salvatore Quasimodo. Music: traditional music, classical music (especially Russian), blues, rock and roll, boogie-woogie, gypsy jazz, French music ('La Rue Ketanou', etc.). Movies: documentaries, dramas, horror, and French comedies. Favourite movie: 'In the mood for love' by Wong Kar-way.
我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
In 2013, when I was 19, I traveled by my self from Italy to Silopi (Turkey, at the border with Syria) with my Vespa Px 125 ('motor' in Turkish). I drove 10,000 km and I saw hundreds of beautiful places and people. In the future, I want to continue my travel and travel the entire Middle East, which I find incredibly fascinating and, one day, reach China (obviously not by flight).
教学、学习、分享
I can show you how to cook some real Italian food, how to speak my language (Italian) as well as English (I worked as an English teacher in the past), what is the ICRC and why it is so relevant today (if you are interested in that), Politics, some basics of guitar and piano, sailing, etc.
