Grew up surrounded by waterfalls, followed my dreams and came after the waves of Australia, followed the winds to Western Australia - Margaret River and now settling base in the tropical east coast. Life has also taken me to the west end of Europe, Amazonia, the great walls of China, the islands of Indonesia, Taiwan and New Zealand. I get a kick out of challenges, intrigued by how others enjoy life and the values they live for, and love to share what I've learned in my path so far. Music is my soul. My body can't help but reverberate and dance to good music. I am very spiritual and see religions as languages - the first to speak with God, the latter with men. My goal is to speak 7 languages. Still got Mandarin and one more to go!

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
As a teacher of languages, I've met thousands of international students and the way humans communicate fascinates me. Couchsurfing has overcome my initial expectations of getting to stay with people that have travelled and I could learn from. I realised I can contribute to others that I come across, even if only for a few hours. I believe life will only get better if I continue to take action towards a brighter future. I wish to continue to grow and to enjoy the only life I am aware I can live so far.

Haven't watched much TV or movies over the last 10 years... but before then, I can say the Matrix, Into the Wild & dumbo. Really liked Ramsès, The Godfather, Mists of Avalon but most of my readings were for educational purposes. (Dumbo - for real?!?!?? naaaaahhhh)

I am preparing myself to become a mentor. For now, I can help with languages in general. Can also teach some Brazilian dances, surfing, swimming, meditation. I'm sure I'll only stop learning when my time comes... and I'm pretty sure I'll try to fool the collector and stay here as long as I can hehehe

I have learned several dishes I could cook, but I'm always keen to learn more. I can play the guitar and entertain a bit and share anything I know about languages and cultures. My ears are not Dumbo sized, but they work pretty alright. Tell me something, I'll listen and share my thoughts and views.

Surfing, kite-surfing, off road cycling, camping, trekking, cooking, dancing (to Brazilian & Latin music mostly), playing music, anything that can be done outdoors, really - and now free diving :)
