我为什么使用Couchsurfing
I have decided to step out of my comfort zone to begin my newly found dream of traveling. After stumbling upon a travel blog site, I realized I shared the same passion. So now, I will begin preparing to embark on my own journey. Voilà!
音乐、电影与书籍
I listen to various genres of music. Rock/Aleternative, Indie, Hip-hop, Pop, Mexican Regional, Tejano, Country. Shoot! Even some Classical if it's called for. The Strokes, Zaz, Intocable, Pesado, Artic Monkeys, Wiz Khalifa, Plain White T's, and so on... a real medley of artists. Movies? I wasn't gonna miss Jurassic World for anything in the world! I still like Jurassic Park the best. Obviously, I wholly enjoyed Michael Crichton's book, the original Jurassic Park. Pulp Fiction, The whole lot of Marvel movies, Inglorious Basterds... 'nuff said!
我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
Um, this one's difficult. I honestly have to say I feel I've lived a pretty boring life until now. I wasn't one to amaze others. So with that said, the one single amazing thing I ever did was uprooting my quiet, inactive existance to migrate BACK to Mexico. I promise you, there were some mixed feelings from my family, on both sides of the border.

I am an English teacher in Harmon Hall. I am a sponge, ready to absorb new things. I'm big into language learning, as well as the culture that comes with. I am looking forward to sharing anything I can despite not having to much traveling experience. But... that will change soon!
我的兴趣
Growing up in a semi-rural area (if that's even a thing) I got the best of both country and city living. Being outdoors. Wether it's going for a dip in a river, hiking excursion, horseback riding, or simply feeding fauna at the local park, I'm the happiest outside. I also have my city-slicker side. I'm always up for going out for a city night with friends, walking around downtown doing some people watching, and searching out cultural events like theatre and folkoric ballet. I do my share of reading too. Fiction/fantasy are my favorite, but I never turn away a good documentary or history book.
