I play and work outside A LOT. (Maybe an understatement.) Anyway, I was leading canoe trips in New England last summer and had a group of younger boys out for a week-long. We stayed at this campsite on the river that was an open meadow, with tall grass, and trees lining two sides, the rive on the other. After the campers and my co-leads had gone to bed I stayed up to write and as I was sitting there all the fireflies came out and started twinkling. I've never seen so many all at once in the same place. It was like sitting in a stadium in pitch black and having tons of camera flashes going off around me. On top of this, it was a new moon, perfectly clear sky with all the stars out, all of these, and the fireflies, reflecting on the river. I'm not sure any description I give could do it any justice at all.

I can cook and take you hiking/ climbing! I know alot of my local plants and what is good to eat if you get lost in the woods, even in winter. There's some cool swimming spots around these parts, and I'm always up for adventure. As for what I want to learn? That's so hard! I love learning. Recently I've been really into yoga, art and new music. Want to trade some tunes?

most things. i like the outdoors- hiking, camping, swimming, gardening, napping, rock climbing, snowball fights and snowboarding, long boarding, cross country running, dogs, bugs, birds, reptiles, trees, puddles, good books, a good cup of coffee, a solid meal, art, photgraphy, content-full conversations, live music mostly of the reggae, folk and jazz variety, but i love all types.
