I live with my wife and two teenagers in the Catskill Mountains, two and a half hours NW of New York City. I run a photography studio with locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, play tennis, ride a motorcycle and am looking for what's next.

To meet people, avoid motels and have somewhere to camp when it's raining. I plan to take a motorcycle trip with my 17 year old son and am looking to have a more interesting experience than we did last year when we camped and stayed at typical lodging. Hoping to get further out of my comfort zone and help my son to meet a greater variety of people; especially so he realizes the difference between relationships with 'friends' he has on line, which are comfortable, distant and easy, no matter how intimate you may think you're getting, versus actually meeting people. Honestly, I need to do more of that too.

After high school I hitchhiked 10,000 miles around the US, but that was in 1977. I'm wildly tempted to try it again, 40 yrs later. I also had a pizza delivered to a film crew working on a scaffold hanging beneath the Brooklyn Bridge.
